Coffee and Cowork is a weekly, unstructured coffee meetup for East Lansing and Lansing, MI — close enough to MSU (Michigan State University) that grad students and staff wander in as easily as remote workers. There is no agenda, no keynote, and nobody will ask what you're passionate about. This is not networking — nobody here is building a personal brand or growing a pipeline. We're a few people who like coffee and like talking to each other more than we like talking to our phones.

Bring a laptop if you want to look busy, or don't, and just talk to someone for an hour. Think of it as a casual work meetup or a low-key coworking session at your neighborhood third place, not a conference room. If you're hoping to pitch something, you'll have a bad time — everyone else came here to talk to people, not get sold to.
